School of Humanities faculty are invited to apply for the one-month summer residency fellowship at the National Humanities Center (Research Triangle Park, NC). Rice became an institutional sponsor of the National Humanities Center in the Spring of 2018. We have been asked to inform the NHC of our nominations by December 1, 2020.
Full details regarding the summer fellowship are available here. NHC’s FAQ document should answer questions about lodging and other logistics. As an institutional sponsor, the Dean's Office will partner with the Humanities Research Center (HRC) to send Humanities faculty members to participate in the Summer Residency program (June 1-26, 2020). We will cover the $7,000 cost of the program; participants are responsible for their own transportation (and can draw upon available research funds). This summer fellowship opportunity is only open to tenure-track and tenured faculty.
Applications are due by Friday, November 15, 2019 and should include a current CV and a project overview of no longer than 5 pages, submitted via email to Andrew Stefl (email@example.com). The School of Humanities and the HRC are pleased to support faculty research through this new fellowship opportunity!
