Summer Research Fellowships
Program Description:
The Humanities Research Center awards Summer Research Fellowships to undergraduates with strong backgrounds in the humanities. The fellowships require up to 200 hours of work on a research project led by a Rice faculty member engaged in humanistic research. Selected fellows in 2022 received stipends of up to $3,000.
Eligibility:
Fellowships are awarded to undergraduate students who have demonstrated strong potential in the humanities, though they do not need to be a humanities major. Fellows must be enrolled at Rice in the Fall 2023 semester.

- Name
- Description of the faculty led research project (200 words)
- Endorsement from faculty member (may be submitted via email sent directly to Paula Platt, pauladp@rice.edu, by the deadline)
- Start and end dates of the fellowship
- Unofficial transcript
