The Humanities Research Center awards Summer Research Fellowships to undergraduate students with strong backgrounds in the humanities. The fellowships require up to 200 hours of work on a research project led by a Rice faculty member engaged in humanistic research. Selected fellows will receive stipends of up to $3000 paid through bi-weekly timesheets.

Fellowships are awarded to undergraduate students who have demonstrated strong potential in the humanities, though they do not need to be humanities majors. Fellows must be enrolled at Rice in the following fall semester.
