As an Intern at the Humanities Research Center (HRC) at Rice University, Mary Weekley contributes to the center's operations, event coordination, and social media engagement.

Mary is pursuing a double major in Managerial Economics and Organizational Sciences (MEOS) and English (Creative Writing), with a minor in Politics, Law, and Social Thought (PLST). She is the fiction section editor for the Rice Review, assistant writing editor for the Campanile (yearbook), and a member of the Dean of Humanities Undergraduate Council. Through these endeavors, Mary hopes to recruit people to take Humanities courses and recognize the power of perspective and language. After Rice, Mary aspires to attend law school.
