As a Center Assistant for the Humanities Research Center (HRC) at Rice University, Emily contributes to the center's operations, event coordination, and social media engagement.

Emily is majoring in Economics and Social Policy Analysis and pursuing a Chinese certificate at Rice University. Her research interests include healthcare and sustainability policy, and she has conducted political science research with the focus on war and justice in Southeast Asia.

Emily serves as a staff writer for the Rice Thresher and was an editor for the Rice Asian Studies Review (RASR), volume 8 (2024-2025).
