Over the last decades, German developments in media theory, the study of cultural techniques and the resurgence of Philosophical Anthropology have involved the elaboration of ideas similar to those current in the North American Posthumanities. The talk is part of a larger project aimed at a trans-Atlantic engagement by concentrating on relevant issues in the work of Peter Sloterdijk.
